WHEATLEY KIDS FISHING DERBY
The Kids Fishing Derby was held on Saturday, July 9th.7 a.m - 12 noon at the Wheatley Dock. They provided a Free lunch and prize for each entrant. Biggest fish awards: 8 and under went to Jack Thomas; age 9 to 13 went to Victoria Ashley & Luc Ribble; and age 14 to 17 went to Riley Gabrial. Bait was supplied for everyone. Everyone that came out had a great time. I think this was the best turnout ever. Good Job to the guys & gals from "Southwest Outdoors Club".

Delta Celebrates 100th Anniversary
One hundred years is a long time for any organization; a century of aspirations, 10 decades of hard work, countless successes to celebrate and occasional failures to learn from. Since 1911, Delta Waterfowl has seen it all. What's remarkable is that throughout this journey, travelled by thousands of dedicated individuals, their mission has always been to enhance the future of waterfowl and waterfowl hunting.
On June 25, 2011 the Delta Waterfowl - Kingsville Chapter CELEBRATED it's 7th year. They had "FireHouse Catering", a live auction, silent auction and lots of prizes. Everyone had a good time as usual.

Any Student that takes his course (one Stop) between now and next May that are between the ages of 12 to 15 will go into a draw for a free duck and Goose hunt with your trainer (me) next year. Georgian Bay WOW Weekend - Oct 30, 2010
The Georgian Bay WOW (Womens outdoor weekend) conducted a ladies waterfowl hunt at Long point On Oct. 30 2010. Friday evening the participants arrived at the Long point and had an evening of instruction on the basics of waterfowling. Up at 3am, breakfast ready, lunches packed and off to the marsh. All 16 women had an excellent adventure.
